Hayden, I like your style. Adding you to the blogroll! I have a blog too, that was meant to be informative, but then I realised I have no wisdom and nothing extremely interesting to say, so it is just a collection of random crap.

Your blog's good, though.

My blog will be switching over to wordpress sometime soon. Very exciting. THEN I will be able to have a good list of links to the places I read. It's currently a bit unwieldy...

ok so this is kinda offtopic but does anyone know how you can get all the blogspot blogs you're subscribed to to show up on one page. Sort of like your friends page on livejournal.

I've been trying to work it out but either there is no such thing with blogspot or I'm missing the obvious. I hope there is such a thing, it's really convenient with lj

Try Google Reader if you want a web based one, or Mozilla Thunderbird if you want it combined in an email program. The blogs have to have RSS available, but I'm pretty sure all blogspot blogs do unless the blogger decides to turn it off.

It's only a baby blog, but to cut myself a bit of slack I dont start uni for a month. And some people will probably be offended, but I don't really mind because the internet is one of the few mediums which allow for true freedom of speech.

www.mevsmedschool.blogspot.com

That said once classes start I will have to be careful - it seems as though half of my cohort are members of pagingdr!

I'd have to say that the best two Australian med students blogs out there are Med Students Down Under (http://downunderdocs.wordpress.com/) and An Experiment in Audacity (http://audaci.net/).

Liz's blog is very personal, really exposing who she is and what's she's doing. And Miss G's has a brilliant design, not surprising given her background, and her annotations on people and social aspects really hit home. What both blogs have in common are that they are both very well written.

Cool - thanks devitius. I think the downunderdocs blog is written by the same people who must have been behind lizdoessydney. I'm glad you could point us in the direction of the current site.

... And yes, I'm a big fan of audaci.net as well!

Liz moved her blog from blogspot (I think that's what they were using) to wordpress a couple of months ago in an attempt to try and improve their anonymity..... if I believe correctly it had to do with being able to block access of their photo's through search engines. They also tried using codenames by changing every mention of their real names (which must have been an editing nightmare) - but they seem to have given up since it looks like they've reverted back to their usually names and are still freely posting lots of photos. I'm not completely sure on that, so don't hold me to it. Anyway, I think it's the degree of openness that really makes it an interesting read... we're allowed to follow her life which is unusual for most blogs out there.

And, of course, Miss G is a legend so obviously her blog rules!!!
