 Paging Dr Museum
« Thread Started on Mar 5, 2007, 10:29am »

The old forum, Paging Dr Museum, is now under NEW management. It will not disappear unexpectedly.

Unfortunately, we have lost the GAMSAT and WELCOME TO MEDICAL SCHOOL boards. These are not recoverable. Topic threads from the FORUM board can be retrieved from Google cache. Refer to this thread to learn how to retrieve from Google cache.

Visit Paging Dr Museum to browse old discussions, reminisce about your old post count or collect your avatar links.

If you see a discussion thread from the Paging Dr Museum which you like, please DO NOT copy the text into this (new) forum. It is not necessary. If you like the thread:
  • Open a new thread in the corresponding board here.

  • Post the link to the old thread.

  • Continue the discussion here.

By all means, copy your favourite YouTube video ID here. :)

Posting/registrations in the Paging Dr Museum is now disabled. You don't have to login to view the boards. All boards are exposed to the public.

Good to know it won't just dissappear unexpectedly. SAves alot of hassle having to quickly scramble to copy it over ;D

A shame about the GAMSAT forums not being recovered.

The previous manager had nothing to do with the old forums return, and it's unfortunate about the gamsat boards - but the upside is that there's still a lot there, and as mentioned, it's not going anywhere :)

so it's basically the boards that were accessible by the general p ublic, and the private/registration-required boards we can't get?

Pretty much, but the registration requirement doesn't have anything to do with why they're gone.

what does have to do with why they're gone? Pardon my inquisitive nature here, but I would argue those were the most important/significant boards.

Put it this way, none of the current staff had anything to do with the fact that those boards were deleted.

That's a well restrained response Kimmy ;) ;D You and all the staff are doing quite well not to explode. It's very impressive :)
